16 weeks, 4 days - Belly Pic!

Ugh. See? Thick. I do feel a little better, though, after comparing this to the 6 week pic.

Turns out, my waist wasn't always this thick and it's not just that I've tricked myself into thinking it. Looks like I'm well on my way to a proper belly! Though, I still wish it would appear the same cute way Amy's did. And I need to be sure to not wear a sports bra in these pics. Yikes.

  1. I think it looks cute right now, hon. I think the bigger issue is that, from the looks of these pictures, we need to get you to start changing your clothes a bit more often...

    1. Oh jeez. I try to wear the same clothes or ones that look similar so you can see that it's my belly changing and not my clothes! Jerk. Hahaha, oh Matthew.

  2. Ok fine. But tell me how not showering between pictures helps...

  3. Definite difference! Look at that ghetto booty! Wish I had that when I was pregnant! All my weight went to my belly and face. I looked like I had an allergic reaction to something!

  4. And Matt-phew, you got that name for a reason! Not changing your clothes frequently enough can be the only explanation for your stench. Ha!

  5. Not sure I see a ghetto booty, but there is a difference for sure! See! And you thought you weren't showing! Very exciting!

    1. Hahaha, thanks, Steve. :)

It's funny, though, because that's clearly a difference, right? But I don't feel like my clothes fit any differently. They must, though. Well, my shirts for sure don't look as good, but I still don't feel like they fit differently, just that my body looks dumpy under them. I keep hearing that once your belly "pops," it grows pretty fast, though, so I may be in maternity clothes before too long. So crazy. :)

  6. For the record a ghetto booty is a good thing. "ghetto booty!" - as taken from "Don't be a menace to society"

    1. hahaha, I like how you made it "good" by putting it in quotes with an exclamation... and saying it's from Don't be a Menace. hahahaha, oh jeez. "I've got these cheeseburgers, man..."
